One of the key company lynch-pins in any FCPA compliance and ethics program is HR. Most HR professionals do not think of themselves as being on the front line for FCPA compliance and ethics. However, HR function is a key internal function in "connecting the dots” for FCPA ethics and compliance.


The traditional roles of HR in training, corporate planning, hotlines, and reporting and employee evaluations are critical to the success of any FCPA compliance and ethics program. As compliance programs mature, many FCPA functions currently handled by legal will migrate to the HR function. Your company needs to be prepared to lead this maturation and migration.
